The Akai GX-77 is a highly regarded reel-to-reel tape recorder, produced by Akai in the early 1980s. It is well-known for its auto-reverse functionality, compact design, and Glass & X’Tal Ferrite heads (GX heads), which offer long life and stable performance over time.
