The BX-3 could be configured in multiple ways to drive 2, 3, or 4 speakers, making it a highly versatile power amplifier for different speaker setups. Incorporating four independent power amps, the BX-3 functions as a stereo amplifier, a 3-channel amplifier or a 4-channel amplifier, and up to four pairs of speaker systems can be driven at a time.
